Touch-Up™ hair removal
Touch-Up ™ laser hair removal is a treatment or "maintenance session" that is performed after the main series of procedures. The main goal of the session is to keep the skin smooth and to remove hairs that could grow back over time. After a general series of laser treatments, most hairs are removed and their growth is significantly reduced. Only fine hairs may remain, which grow more slowly or appear only in certain places. Touch-up sessions help prolong the effects and keep the skin smooth without visible hair.
The goal is to achieve permanent smoothness of the skin by continuously removing hairs that can return after time in specific areas.
Useful information
A Touch-Up™ is usually necessary every 6 to 12 months, but the frequency depends on individual factors such as skin type, hair density or hormonal changes.
With Touch-Up ™ hair removal, only selected areas are usually treated where hair growth is restored. It is not a comprehensive treatment of the entire area as in the case of initial procedures. Instead, Touch-Up ™ concentrates on smaller areas where hair may appear sporadically.
